The Groupings feature of Artlook is extremely powerful and is used for many different purposes.
An inventory item can be put into a Grouping or into many different Groupings. This clusters the items together, so they can be included in:
- a catalogue for an exhibition or event
- a specific web page
- a private Lightbox page to which you can invite people
- an export to another Artlook system elsewhere
- a slide show
- a consignment
- a social media share
- a price list
- a set of wall labels
One of the most powerful elements is that Groupings can be used to create web pages on your Artlook web site. Please see the relevant Knowledgebase article on this subject.
You can create Groupings by choosing “New” from within Groupings
or you can build your Grouping from within Inventory using the Query Pane (see Knowledgebase article on filtering records).
