Configuration and settings

How do I change my currency symbol

Artlook defaults to using GBP (UK sterling). You can change this by clicking on Settings from the top level section menu. On the first General tab look for the second option labelled Currency. Click on the drop down arrow and choose your desired symbol (there’s more to come!).

Note that this changes the displayed currency throughout the application and on your website if you are using the in-built templates – it does not convert currency values from the previously selected choice.

I want to show dimensions in centimeters not inches

Artlook defaults to using Imperial (inches) as the standard unit of measurement. You can change this by clicking on Settings from the top level section menu. On the first General tab look for the option labelled Measurement System. Click on the drop down arrow and choose Metric.

If you have already entered dimensions and then change the overall setting you should note that the dimensions you have already entered are not converted – all that changes is the label so you will need to re-enter (you will see the values you need in the bracketed conversion). Which is why we recommend deciding on your preferred units of measure before entering stock records!
